I keep a light in the window
Making sure that it’s on
So you know that I’m still here
So you know
You only did what had to
I don’t blame you for nothin
I still feel like shit without you
So you know
You’re tellin me that you met somebody
Say it’s easier than it’s ever been
I’m telling you I’m happy youre happy
Cant you tell that I don’t mean it
Cause it’s hard to hear that you found somebody
When i’ve holding on to get you back again
I’m telling you I’m happy you’re happy
Can’t you tell that I don’t mean it
Now I sleep in the day cause
At night it don’t seem to come
And time it dont seem to matter
Anymore
I chase the worst of the memories
Trying to piece it together
Till I just I can’t take it
Anymore
You’re tellin me that you met somebody
You say it’s easier than it’s ever been
I’m telling you I’m happy you’re happy
Can’t you tell that I don’t mean it
Cause it’s hard to hear that you found somebody
When i’ve holding on to get you back again
I’m telling you I’m happy you’re happy
Can’t you tell that I don’t mean it
Happy you’re happy...
You’re tellin me that you met somebody
You say it’s easier than it’s ever been
I’m telling you I’m happy you’re happy
Can’t you tell that I don’t mean it
Cause it’s hard to hear that you found somebody
When i’ve holding on to get you back again
I’m telling you I’m happy you’re happy
Can’t you tell that I don’t mean it

Well... Like some people here, I never really liked that song! However, this is *so* much better than the original, for all the reasons already listed by deluded_marxist! The depth of feelings here, especially from the vocals but also the slow music, really is on a whole other level! Thanks to Tara Tantrum for taking me here! Highly recommended!!! bmurator
I struggle to describe what is so special about Lissom’s music. They sound like nothing I’ve ever heard before yet always knew I wanted. Their first record ranks as one of the most beautiful I’ve ever heard.
“Eclipses” is a an impressive step forward for Lissom. The songwriting is more mature and immersive, and the production is crystal-clear with multi-layered vocals, and lush string arrangement. Timpy
